Bearings and bushings recommended for high temperature service and for pump applications where the pumpage cannot be relied upon to lubricate the shaft bearing or wear parts

Submerged Bearings
Many tough applications run completely underwater, partially submerged, or with washdowns. Often in these applications, caustics are also an issue. Therefore, it is important to have a bearing material that is dimensionally stable, can handle caustics, and can provide lubrication in various environments. Graphite-metal alloy bearings can be a solution here. Learn more about submerged bearings here.
Nickel-Impregnated Graphite Bushings
Nickel-impregnated graphite bushings can handle temperatures of up to 750°F/400°C in oxidizing environments and 1700°F/725°C in non-oxidizing/submerged environments, as well as handle low lubricity service and run-dry scenarios. This makes them a good match for pumps in tough services. Learn more here.
